23 Students Receive Excellence Awards

Bandar Seri Begawan - Twenty-three students from Sekolah Menengah Sayyidina Ali who obtained excellent results in public examinations last year received prizes and certificates in an award ceremony for Excellent Students 2004 held at the school yesterday.

Out of the 23, three students passed the PMB examinations, five O-Level examinations and 15 A-Level examinations.

Prizes were also given to students who excelled in the third term school examinations from Primary One, Primary Two, Primary Four and Pre-University 2004.

Present to award the students was the guest of honour, Awg Hj Eady Sardi bin Dato Hj Abdul Razak, Chief District Curriculum, Curriculum Education Department.

Awg Hj Md Adenin bin Hj Hamdan, the Principal of Sekolah Menengah SayyidinaAli, reminded students during his welcoming speech that success depends on their self-discipline because disciplining themselves is one of the characteristics which will bring individuals towards success in life.
