Sayyidina Umar Al-Khattab school wins sepak takraw tournament

Defending champion Sayyidina Umar Al-Khattab Secondary School once again proved they had the best sepak takraw teams among secondary schools in zone one when they defeated Sultan Hassan Secondary School in straight sets in both under-15 and above-15 categories in the finals of a sepak takraw tournament at the Manjalin Sports Complex in Mukim Sg Kebun.

The event was organised by the Co-Curriculum Department, Ministry of Education and coordinated by Awang Semaun Secondary School.

The wins last Saturday qualified the teams for the state championship, which will be held in June this year.

Awang Semaun Secondary School principal Awang Hj Metali bin Hj Mirasan was on hand to present prizes to the winners.
