Sunshine holds religious contests

Sunshine School recently held an Al-Quran
Reading and Jawi Writing contest for its students from Primary One to
Primary Six.
A spokesperson from the school stated
that contests were in line with the school's vision and mission of
strengthening the curriculum through its religious programmes.
The Jawi Writing contest was open not
only to Muslim students but also to non-Muslims.
Adibah
Nabilah bte Hj Mohd Ali, Mohd Faris bin Hj Zaharuddin and Mohd Firdaus
bin Hj Hanafiah won first, second and third place respectively in the
al-Quran Reading contest for Primary Six.
Primary Six students Hjh Siti
Nurizzah bte Hj Awg Jaafar, Nuramalina bte Abd Rahim and Nurdiyana bte
Hj Misli meanwhile won first, second and third place respectively in
the Jawi Writing contest for Muslim students.
In the Jawi Writing competition for
non-Muslims, Primary Six students Sarah Jane Ward, Kristine Mae
Galarido and Angela Mae N. Petil won first, second and third place
respectively.
Prizes for all the winners in all the
levels were given during the week's morning assembly.
