Sheraton Launches Big Bash

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Sheraton Utama Social Club, SSSC, recently organised an All Associates Bash in appreciation of the hard work and efforts made throughout the year 2004.

Themed `Spots and Stripes,' the night began with a welcoming speech delivered by Datin Hajah Zainah Bujang, Sheraton Utama General Manager.

Numerous acts were lined up for the event including a group performance staged by the associates and a special performance by the executive committee members.

However, the best act for the night went to Faisal and Md Karim who performed `Songs Without Words.'

The night also saw the naming of the `Associate Of The Year 2004' which went to Engineering Department ElectricianAdisorn Piladee, who joined the hotel in 1997.

He was awarded with the recognition due to his remarkably positive attitude and diligence towards his work and efficiency during the process.

Mr Piladee also received a return ticket to Singapore, plus accommodation at the Sheraton Towers Singapore.

All associates received a lucky draw prize during the night. Later, the committee named the best dressed as Mr and Mrs Spots and Stripes. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
