Thai Military Ships Arriving At Muara Port

Bandar Seri Begawan - A fleet of three military ships of the Royal Thai Navy carrying 870 naval officers, naval cadets, enlisted and nonmilitary rank personnel, will arrive in Brunei and are expected to berth at the Muara Port from March 17 to 20.

The ships will reach Muara Port at 1500 hours.

According to a statement from the Royal Thai Embassy, Mr Sornsilp Polteja, Ambassador of Thailand, will be present to welcome the ships, and will be accompanied by Lt. Colonel (L) Syed Abdillah'bin Dato Syed Hussein, Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy.

An evening reception on March 18 will be held onboard the H.T.M.S Naresuan and hosted by Rear Admiral Witoon Kumpeerapana, Commander of the Royal Thai Naval Cadet Training Unit 2005. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
