Sultan Presents Credentials To
Envoys

Begawan - His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei
yesterday granted audiences and present credentials to two newly
appointed Brunei envoys to Canada and Thailand at the Istana Nurul
Iman.
The two newly appointed Brunei envoys
are Pg Dato Paduka Shariffudin as Brunei's Ambassador to Thailand and
Dyg Magdalene Teo Chee Siong as Brunei's High Commissioner to Canada.
Later, His Majesty granted an
audience to three newly appointed non-resident foreign envoys at the
Istana Nurul Iman.
They were Dr Ahmed Ali Hanesh of the
Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, M Barlas Ozener of
the Republic of Turkey and Dr Wahab Olaseinde Dosunmu of the Federal
Republic of Nigeria.
Ambassadors Dr Ahmed Ali Hanesh and M
Barlas Ozener, and High Commissioner Dr Wahab Olaseinde Dosunmu are
currently based in Kuala Lumpur.
Similarly, His Royal Highness Prince
Mohamed Bolkiah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, granted audiences at
the Balai Penghadapan, Bukit Kayangan to the three newly- appointed
non-resident foreign envoys yesterday.
They were Dr Ahmed Ali Hanesh of the
Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, M Barlas Ozener of
the Republic of Turkey, and Dr Wahab Olaseinde Dosunmu of the Federal
Republic of Nigeria.
HRH Prince Mohamed welcomed the three
new envoys and discussed bilateral matters.
All the newly appointed non-resident
foreign envoys are currently based in Kuala Lumpur. --
