World Scout Foundation chairman's visit

Persekutuan Pengakap Negara Brunei Darussalam recently welcomed the Chairman of World Scout Foundation in Geneva, Dr Eberhard von Koerber, who arrived in the Sultanate last Friday for a two-day visit.

Upon arrival at the airport, Dr Eberhard was received by the President of Persekutuan Pengakap Negara Brunei Darussalam, Pehin Dato Hj Ali Bin Hj Md Daud.

In the afternoon, Dr Eberhard paid a visit to the National Scouts Association headquarters in Beribi and had meeting with the Chief National Commissioner, Awang Hj Zainal Abidin Penghulu Hj Ibrahim and several officials from the Brunei Scouts Association.

During the meeting, Dr Eberhard was given a briefing on the organisation and its activities. Dr Eberhard also toured the headquarters and mingled with the staff and scout members who were conducting activities at the time.

At night, he attended a dinner at the Empire Hotel hosted by the President of Brunei Scouts Association.
