Seminar On Biotech Discoveries At Agri Food Fair

Bandar Seri Begawan - A seminar on new discovery of biotech application in livestock industry and health food for diabetes held at the Wasan Rice Project yesterday received an encouraging response from members of the public here.

The event was part of the Agriculture & Food Fair 2005 held by the Department of Agriculture and Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources.

It was conducted by Professor Mao and Professor Ooi from the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the National Chun Hsing University in Taiwan.

Also present at the seminar was Dr. James Chen, the Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Brunei, and his wife. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
