St John's Teachers Complete Training

Bandar Seri Begawan - About 12 kindergarten and primary teachers from St. John's School, Kuala Belait recently received their certificates after attending a workshop on how to teach phonics using Jolly Phonics.

Awang Haji Zainal Abidin Mahari, the school's principal, presented the certificates to the participants.

The workshop, conducted by the renown Niki Nowel, was held to further enhance the teachers' ability in teaching kindergarten students to decode English words and sounds. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
