Mega Shopping Prize Winners Awarded

Bandar Seri Begawan - In a strategic partnership between Baiduri Bank and Hua Ho Department Store to encourage shopping in Brunei, Mega Shopping Festival was launched from September 1, 2004 to February 2, 2005 at the Hua Ho outlet in Kiulap.

Following a grand draw event held on March 6 to select the winners, Baiduri Bank and Hua Ho yesterday held an official prize presentation for 47 winners at the Kiulap outlet.

The grand prize of a Mitsubishi Lancer 1.6 GLX Auto went to Ms Tan Sheau Ling.

The first prize of two return air tickets to Bangkok was won by Mohd Tommy Fatah Abdullah Lam, while Sallimah Mohd Salleh received a Toshiba 33" colour TV as the second prize, and Lau Chiew Yek got the third prize of a JVC hi-fi system.

Fifteen grandfather clocks, six Phillips coffeemakers and five Cornell electric ovens, were among the many other exciting prizes given away.

On hand to present the lucky grand prize winner with a mock key of her new car was Mr Pierre Imhof, General Manager of Baiduri Bank.

Also present were Mr Ti Eng Hui, Deputy General Manager Retail Banking and Branch Network, Ms Lee Ai Cheng, Manager of Baiduri Card Centre, as well as senior officers from the Hua Ho Department Store. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
