Bandar Seri
Begawan - The British Council will be holding their 9th Annual
Education UK Exhibition 2005 on March 15 at the Ballroom, Centrepoint
Hotel from 10am till 6.30pm.
The education fair is aimed at
prospective students who are considering overseas options for their
future studies.
The fair is a joint effort between
the UK Trade and Investment and the Department of Trade Industry. Over
19 universities and educational institutions are expected to attend
the fair, which is opened to the public.
The British Council will hold several
presentations during the exhibition for those interested in the UCAS
process and Postgraduate studies.
Susana Galvan, Director for Education
and Training, British Council, cited diversity and platform for growth
as two reasons why students should consider studying in the United
Kingdom.
She added other aspects such as
culture, history and lifestyle are also good reasons to study in the
UK.
Galvan encouraged prospective
students to attend the exhibition with a checklist to ensure that they
get all their queries answered. --
