Grand Dinner For Vintage Convoy

Bandar Seri Begawan - A dinner was held in honour of the "Borneo Experience, Tour of 2005" Rolls-Royce entourage Monday night at the Royal Berkshire Hall, Jerudong Polo Club.

Hosting the reception, Pehin Dato Haji Abdul Rahman Taib, the Minister of Industry and Primary Resources, said that that this was the first group of visitors ever to have driven into Brunei in such a grand style behind the wheel of an exclusive collection of vintage and modern Rolls Royces and Bentleys.

The people of Brunei will be looking forward to seeing this beautiful collection of cars that deserve to be admired and appreciated as well as meet with the car owners, he said.

He hoped that the entourage's stay will be a pleasant and memorable one and thanked the tour's organising committee for choosing Borneo and Brunei for their 2005 expedition.

The chairman of the club also delivered a speech, thanking Brunei for welcoming them.
