PEMODA Charity Ride Ends In
Temburong

Begawan - The final lap of the PEMODA charity ride and motor
show, ended in Temburong over the weekend.
The Darussalam Motorcycles
Association organized the event.
The charity event was part of
PEMODA's efforts to raise funds for the tsunami victims.
Hariel
Hj Simpol, PEMODA Relation Secretary, said B$3,829.67 has been
collected from the charity ride and motor show, which was held in
three districts of Tutong, Kuala Belait and Temburong.
He said all the money collected from
the charity ride will be handed over to the Tsunami National Fund
Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
Twenty PEMODA members participated in
the charity ride.
Several activities were also held,
including a ride to Batang Duri National Park, Temburong.
Meanwhile, on March 16 PEMODA is to
welcome the visit of 30-motorcycle riders from "Harley Owners Group"
from Indonesia, who is on a "Chapter Pesona Lintas Khatulistiwa Tour"
to Brunei. --
