Six groups of students from the
Business School, Department of Technical Educations took part in the
Big Makan festival held in the capital recently. This was the first
public project for the group of students who comprised 60 boys and
girls.
To run the food stall, the students
utilised what they had learnt in school about business, accounting,
marketing and communication. The idea came from their teacher who
suggested that this practical experience would help them understand
doing business better.
The students are currently operating
several stalls in the vicinity of their school at Jalan Pasar Gadong
every Saturday as part of the school project.
