Empire Hotel Launches Excellence Training Course

Bandar Seri Begawan - Following the launch of The Empire Hotel and Country Club's new mission, vision and core values, the hotel recently introduced the Empire Excellence Training Programme for all team members.

The objective of the programme is to ensure that all members fully understand the mission, vision and core values, and work together to achieve the hotel's vision of excellence, according to a press release.

The programme also communicates the importance of the hotel's core: trust, honesty, excellence, loyalty, and responsibility, and how each team member consistently applies these values when interacting with guests, team mates and shareholders.

All 850 team members of the hotel are required to undergo a one-day training programme which will be held for the next few months.

"It is essential for each and everyone of us to take part in the Empire Excellence Training Programme in order to fully understand the hotel's vision, mission and core values, as it is of utmost importance that we all work together towards common goals and in one focused direction," said Lee Ngee Tan, the hotel's director of human resources. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
