SME Development Training Going On At VOCTECH

Bandar Seri Begawan - A regular training programme on `Small-Medium Enterprise Development Through VTET Institutions' commenced yesterday at the SEAMEO VOCTECH Regional Centre, Brunei. It will end on March 12.

Sixteen administrators, lecturers and instructors of VTET from Southeast Asian member countries, along with the Resource Person, Mr Joko Sutrisno, will be sharing ideas and experience on various topics.

Focus of discussions will be the concepts of entrepreneurship, product services development, managing resources and other related topics.

Mr Joko will be guiding them to develop a small business plan.

Educational and recreational visits have already been scheduled to enhance the participants' knowledge and skills not only on the training aspect but also on their journey to Brunei.

A session to brush up their English language skills, coordinated by Mrs Karen Halligan of CfBT Brunei, was also recently held. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
