Bakhtyar QAF Motor Pool Champion

Bandar Seri Begawan - Awang Bakhtyar emerged champion in the 2"a QAF Motor Group 9-Ball Pool Tournament by easily defeating last year's defending champion, Haji Daniel 7-2 in the final at the Master Alim Enterprise on Sunday.

Third place went to Pg Shahrulzaman after he narrowly overcame Shurajimanjaya 5-3. Around 20 participants from QAF Motor took part in the meet which not only served to promote the game of pool but also aim to select eight players to represent QAF Motor in the upcoming 2nd Master Alim 9-Ball Invitational Challenge Cup which is scheduled to take place from April 1-10.

Nine other teams are expected to vie for the challenge trophy and they include PDS School, UBD, the Water Department, JTB, Jati Transport, IBB, Baiduri Bank, HSBC, and RBA. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
