Presentation of police medals, rank promotions

A ceremony to present police service medals and the promotion of low-rank police officers to higher ranks was held yesterday at the Muara Police Station.

The event also coincided with a parade for the Officer-in-Command (OCPD) for Muara Police District, Pg Kamaluddin bin PSR Pg Hj Jaya. The chief guest was Senior Superintendent Pg Hj Rajid bin Pg Hj Apong, Police's Deputy Director for Administration.

Five personnel were promoted from Lance Corporal to Corporal while another five were promoted from constable (Mata-Mata) to Lance Corporal. Six police personnel also received police service medals.

The chief guest also toured the police station and mingled with Muara Police Station personnel.
