The 2nd National Conference on
Autism organised by Smarter Brunei will be held at the Dewan
Besar of the Religious Teachers College in Bandar Seri Begawan
from March 27 until March 30. The conference will begin
registration at 8.30 am for both days.
According to the organiser,
registration will still be accepted on the day itself and
parents with autistic children are encouraged to attend the
conference which will be of great benefit to the development of
the child.
Teachers and nurses are also
most welcome to participate as they will learn a lot from the
invited overseas speakers and professionals. Among the guest
speakers invited that day will be a mother of an autistic child
from Australia as well as a father of an autistic child from
Johor Baharu in Malaysia. Also expected to attend the event is
the Australian Commissioner, Mr Allaster Cox.
