Teen Revellers Questioned In Gadong Midnight Raid
By Rohani Hj Abd Hamid and Hj Minor Absah

Bandar Seri Begawan - Seven teenagers who did not bring along identify cards, two cases of illegal car modifications, two cases of illegally drinking alcohol, two suspects in a close proximity case and one suspect wanted by the police were recorded during an operation conducted by about 32 officers led by Asp Irham Hj Md Arshad and Asp Justin Hj Yacob in the Gadong area last Saturday night.

According to the police, the cases such as illegally drinking alcohol, close proximity and traffic offences continue to occur at around midnight although some of the culprits have been caught.

Mostly those involved in such activities are teenagers and underage.

The police advised the teenagers hanging around in the area at midnight to bring along their identify cards.

This will help the police to ensure that the young people have not run away from home or are foreign workers who have run away from their employers.

Police advised parents not to allow their teenage children to loiter in the area at midnight as they might become victims of immoral activities. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
