Panaga Dance Centre To Present Four Seasons

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Panaga Dance Centre is staging on July 5 "Four Seasons" as its end-of-year production.

Its top students will be performing the lead parts, according to Robert Policarpio, PDC resident ballet teacher.

Thirty-seven of 53 PDC students recently achieved distinctions in the Royal Academy of Dance Grade and Vocational Examination.

"This has created the opportunity for our young local students to consider a career in the expressive arts," PDC said. The annual dance examination was conducted in Brunei by Ms Elaine Rea, visiting RAD examiner from the United Kingdom.

Children who do ballet are encouraged to grow and develop their competence in dance during the annual dance examinations, PDC said. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
