Thai PM Here Next Week

Bandar Seri Begawan - Thailand's 25th Prime Minister, Mr Samak Sundaravej is scheduled to visit Brunei Darussalam for a two-day official visit beginning July 3, 2008.

While in the country, the Thai Prime Minister is scheduled to attend a Royal audience and dinner hosted by His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

According to an official, during his visit to Brunei, the Thai Premier is also expected to be present for the launch of the Thai Fair 2008 at the Royal Thai Embassy.

The Thai fair will be held for two weeks, starting on the July 4 with the Thai Premier Mr Samak Sundaravej officially launching it.

So far 20 names have been submitted in response for the Thai Fair with a promise of delicious Thai food and other exotic products to be showcased for the general public. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
