Mystery Light Over Manggis Dua

Bandar Seri Begawan - A family of three was in a state of disbelief when they saw a mysterious light emerging in the evening sky that did not resemble anything they had encountered before.

The family, described the light as mysterious. They were hanging out on the balcony of their home in Kg Manggis Dua when they spotted a bright shimmer in the starry skies of the evening.

It was about 6.38pm when they noticed the bright light in the sky.

According to the startled and equally excited Nur Ameerah, "It was long, bright and was moving downwards. I am not sure whether it was a star, comet, meteor of a satellite or a UFO."

She said, "It must be big because at the same time, we also saw an aeroplane from another direction about the same length as the bright long light.

"After a while, we lost sight of it beyond the horizon. I think it was towards the northwest." -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
