Brunei's Very Own ‘Hot Wheels’ Gather At OGDC

Bandar Seri Begawan - Car enthusiasts from all over Brunei Darussalam recently gathered at the Oil & Gas Discovery Centre in Seria.

The cars included at the gathering were mostly of Japanese models such as Nissan, Toyota, Subaru, Honda, Mazda as well as a small number of European cars such as BMW and MINI Cooper S.

At the event, there were also vintage cars such as the 1977 Toyota Celica TA22, 1983 Toyota Corolla Levin, 1983 Toyota Sprinter Trueno, 1983 Mazda RX-7 and the1978 Nissan 280ZX, which were still in pristine condition. These cars were once dubbed as icons back in the days were the crowd's favourite.

Local car clubs such as the Mazda RX-8 club, Nissan Skyline club, Toyota Supra Club, Toyota Corolla club, Nissan Silvia club and Nissan 350Z club were amongst the many clubs who attended the gathering.

The Nissan Skyline club appeared to be the largest in number with 14 members followed by the Toyota Corolla club with 12 members.
