Networking And Workshop At iCentre

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Brunei Economic Development Board is opening the SME Innovation Centre (iCentre) to the public with a half-day workshop and networking event on June 29, 2007.

This is a prelude to the launching of the first iCentre in Brunei Darussalam and is a follow-up to the Think Big Forum held in May.

The Think Big Workshop and Networking target those who are interested in becoming incubatees for the iCentre specifically and wishing to pursue opportunities in ICT.

The programme will include talks on business plan preparation and intellectual property protection. There will also be a presentation by the iCentre management company, KR Consulting, on the incubation selection process and criteria followed by a networking session.

The (Centre is a BEDB initiative, set up as a centre to support the development of new stream of economic growth from ICT through the provision of skills workshops, mentoring and guidance, networking sessions, linkages with organisations and incubation facilities. It also aims to cultivate incubatees to support Brunei's e-government initiatives.
