Royal Wedding Garners Worldwide Attention

Bandar Seri Begawan - The world's eyes were focused on Brunei Darussalam yesterday as a swarm of local media personnel and members of the foreign press gathered in the Sultanate to follow the Royal Wedding of Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Majeedah Nuurul Bulqiah and YAM Pengiran Anak Khairul Khalil, as well as the royal procession around the capital.

Among those present to cover the event were international crews from wire services, such as Reuters, AFP, AP and dpa, as well as women's magazines and photo agencies.

The event was even telecast to Singapore through Channel News Asia, as well as the rest of the world through CNN and BBC.
