Ghanaian Remanded In Witchcraft Case
By Malai FadleyRizal

Bandar Seri Begawan - A 43-year-old Ghanaian who allegedly used witchcraft on a businessman was brought in for remand at Bandar Police Station yesterday.

No plea was taken from Ibrahim Mohd Isaak on a charge of using sortilege (witchcraft) to deceive and impose the 27-year-old businessman in Kg Kiulap at about 7pm on June 23.

Since the defendant could not understand the charge he faced in English, the case was adjourned pending efforts to find a proper Arabic interpreter. The defendant will be brought for further mention of the case on June 29. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
