PESAKA Visits Hulu Selangor

Bandar Seri Begawan - Persatuan Melayu Keriam (PESAKA) Tutong had organised a two-day visit to Hulu Selangor on June 17 and 18. As many as 52 participants were involved, which comprised PESAKA's executive committee and administration members. The group was led by Awg Ahanapi bin Hj Mahadi.

On the first day, they visited the largest orchid garden in Hulu Selangor. On arrival, they were welcomed by Datin Hartini, wife of Dato Zainal Sakom, Head of the UMNO movement of Hulu Selangor.

In the evening on the same day, they visited the hot water pool in Hulu Selangor market and had a durian feast.

At night, Dato Mohamad ldris hosted a gala dinner with cultural performances and presentation of souvenirs.

On the next day, they visited Kuala Kubu Bharu charity house for the elderly. They were welcomed by its Head, Mujah Hasnan.

The group listened to a talk and toured the house to learn more about the old folks' conditions.

They also contributed monetary donations to the old folks' home and orphans of Hulu Selangor.
