The latest British car models, MG ZR and Rover 25 are now available in Brunei.

These two new cars promote its dynamic exterior and interior design boasting its comfort and performance. The prices of these cars are reasonable, meeting the taste of the drivers here.

The British High Commissioner, Mr. Andrew Caie officially launched the superb MG ZR and Rover 25 at QAF Centre, Tapak Perindustrian Beribi, yesterday.

Initially before the launching, Mr Andrew Caie made brief remarks at the ceremony explaining that British-made products are not easily identified such as the airbus, which people say is made in France but is also manufactured in the United Kingdom.

He added that the MG Rover is manufactured in United Kingdom and it's a British-made product. He hoped to see the new MG ZR and Rover 25 gaining popularity by the locals.

ZR is a youthful, fantastic, comfortable car with good performance. This was the most common verdict made by the motoring journalists during its test drive at Faro, Portugal earlier this year. ZR is tuned with a sporting chassis set up for agile and responsive cornering dynamics. Rapid steering response, throttle adjustability and direct steering feedback are all keys to the driver's enjoyment of this 'pocket-rocket'.

MG ZR is complemented by a new front design, dominated by a bold new grille with its surround painted to match the body colour and incorporates bright finish mesh, finished with the traditional MG octagon badge.

This new Rover 25 gives great presence and distinction, while underlining the vitality and sporting nature of the new range.

The Rover 25 has a family identity and smoothly re-profiled front and rear bumpers. It also has an extra bump absorption capability built in and larger door mirrors, with handsome body-coloured housing and a better rear view.

Adding a classic touch to the tailgate, is new chrome-finish numberplate and a handle designed for easier grip.

Dato Paduka Chua Pheng Siong, the Director of Business Development at QAF Centre, also made a welcome remark at the ceremony. He emphasised that MG ZR is a very promising car.
