SR Rimba 1 holds Maulidur Rasul event

A celebration to mark the Maulidur Rasul event was yesterday held at SR Rimba 1.

In order to mark the occasion, an Azan Subuh competition was held for boys while a recitation of Surah Ayat-Ayat Lazim competition was held for girls. Yazid bin Yahya's powerful recital enabled him to win the boys' competition while Ili Syamimi binti Haronli's excellent performance won her the award in the girls' competition.

Students from Year Six also showed their enthusiasm for the event by performing the dikir. The Head Teacher, Pg Zaiton binti Pg Salleh praised the contribution of all involved and presented the prizes to all the participants.
