KL KESEDARAN Visits Ministry Of Religious Affairs

Bandar Seri Begawan - A delegation of 30 workers from the Islamic Worker Organisation of Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (KESEDARAN) paid a visit to the Ministry of Religious Affairs yesterday.

The delegation was led by Senior Public Engineer of the Public Works Department, Awg Hj Mohd Adnan Suratman.

The group tour took place at the Islamic Dakwah Centre and the Institute Tahfiz Al-Quran.

At the Islamic Dakwah Centre, they were welcomed by its acting deputy director and were given a briefing on the religious affairs in Brunei by its Senior Islamic officer, Dyg Hjh Azizah Musa.

The delegation had the opportunity to view various collections on display at the centre's exhibition area —including the Al-Quran collection and the 1408/1987 Kiswah Pintu Kaabah, which was given by the King of Saudi Arabia to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

At Institute Tahfiz Al-Quran, the delegation was welcomed by its Acting Deputy Principal, Hj Mohammed Mat Lazim, and was given a briefing by the institute's Education Officer, Awg Mohammad Shah Hj Abdul Mumin.
