BICPA Audit Seminar

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Brunei Darussalam Institute of Certified Public Accountants (BICPA) yesterday began a two-day audit seminar in line with international audit standards.

The seminar was facilitated by the Head of Fundamental Development and Technical ACCA Malaysia, Jennifer Lopez. More than 30 staff from the audit and banking departments from the private and government sectors are participating.

Topics include seminar introduction, audit appointment, audit planning, evidence collection, conclusion stage, and quality control for audit firms.

International standards on Auditing (ISA) are a professional standard for expanding information on financial audit by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC).

This seminar aims to educate on the effective reporting process in financial auditing of the ISA.

The seminar will expose participants to the auditor's level of work on an international level. Topics have been prepared to complete their knowledge in this competitive arena.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
