colours as more than 3,000 students staged a field performance

enthusiastic schoolchildren, slowly making their way to the centre
of the field and formed the shape of a heart. When their cue came,
up-beat music blasted through the speakers to signal their exit and
welcome the group performing the next segment.

segment portrayed the national development that has been equipped
with knowledge, piety and the national philospohy. It was presented
by 340 secondary school and college students from the district,
followed by a group of youth combined with the choir and hadrah
groups highlighting the peak of a strong unity bind with mutual
understanding between ethnic groups.

of Doa and Tawakal by some 300 students in merry rhythms of hadrah,
gendang and other percussion instruments. A shape of rectangles was
formed, as a symbol of the strength of the nation's structure based
on the national philosophy, Malay Islamic Monarchy (MIB).
