Sultan Grants Audiences To Invited Guests

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Majesty the Sultan and Yang DiPertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday afternoon consented to grant audiences to several guests who have been invited to attend His Majesty's 62nd Birthday celebration, RTB reported. Also present during the audiences at the Istana Nurul Iman were Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha and Her Royal Highness Pengiran Isteri Azrinaz Mazhar.

Among those granted audiences were Her Royal Highness Princess Basma bin Talal, Dato Seri SetiaAl-Syed Walid Ismail Al-Kurdi of Jordan; Finance Minister of the Republic of Singapore, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, and wife; Malaysia's Minister of Energy, Water and Communication, Dato' Shaziman Abu Mansor, and wife; Tan Sri Dato' Sri Musa bin Dato' Haji Hassan, the Malaysian Inspector General of Police; Chief Minister of Sarawak, Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud; Chief Minister of Sabah, Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Haji Aman, and wife; as well as the Philippines' Secretary of National Defence, Gilberto C Teodoro Jr.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
