Congratulatory Messages From Singapore

Bandar Seri Begawan - Congratulations are the order of the day as His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam celebrates his 62"d birthday today.

The President of the Republic of Singapore, SR Nathan, extended heartfelt congratulations to the monarch. In his message, he praised His Majesty's leadership which has brought "unprecedented progress and stability" to the nation.

The Singaporean president also recognised the continual development of relations between the two countries.

"We value Your Majesty's personal commitment to upholding the strong bilateral ties," he said. "On our part, we remain equally committed to nurturing this long withstanding and deep friendship."
