Learning Tree School Seminar On Professionalism, Teaching Competencies

Bandar Seri Begawan - It was another productive day for all the teachers of Learning Tree School when they recently attended the second part of a yearly seminar on education prior to the opening of classes. This time, the topic focused on professionalism and teaching competencies.

The day began with a registration of the participants, followed by some warm-up exercises. Stretching and light aerobics routines were done to set the torte and, prepare the teachers for their long seminar.

Dtiring the LTS In-House Seminar 2, a paper presentation was given to broaden the understanding on the importance of professional attitudes in the teaching practice. It was followed by another topic that dealt on how to become a competent teacher.

Principal Hjh Mahani Hj Osman also emphasised on the seminar's importance as it would generate more ideas and increase understanding on how to deal with the present demands of effective teaching in school.

Learning Tree School is currently celebrating its 20th year of foundation. It is currently preparing for a bigger celebration that will be held next month and would include a fun fair. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
