Briefing On 12th NBT Treasure Hunt
At ICC Today
By James Kon
Bandar Seri
Begawan - Participants of the NBT Treasure Hunt event are
reminded to attend a briefing on the rules and regulations and to
collect goody bags today at 3pm at the International Convention
Centre.
The annual series of the NBT
Treasure Hunt always has an overwhelming response and is now a firm
fixture on the local motoring calendar.
According to Mr Ninan Chacko, NBT
Managing Director, the primary objective of the 2008 12th Treasure
Hunt is to create an enjoyable fun-filled Sunday morning for
families and friends of Toyota and Lexus owners who purchased their
vehicles from NBT.
"The emphasis of NBT is always to
encourage families to participate and I hope to see more teams
comprising families," said Mr Ninan Chacko.
"NBT would like to promote the idea
that the treasure hunt will be more fun when the whole family
participates as a team. This is why teams comprising family members
this year can have a maximum of five participants per vehicle. I
strongly believe that the family who plays and have fun together,
stays together," he added.
"This year's treasure hunt is even
more fun and activity-packed from the word 'go'. There are lots of
attractive prizes up for grabs too.
"An estimated 800 participants and
200 vehicles with a minimum of two to a maximum of four persons per
vehicle are expected to participate in the highly anticipated fun,
thrills, spills and adventure - all hallmarks of NBT's Treasure
Hunt," said Hj Shahrum Hj Kadir, NBT General Sales Manager.
Hj Shahrum revealed that the first
prize is a three-days-two-night holiday package to Perth while the
second and third prizes are three-daytwo-night holiday package to
Hong Kong and threeday-two-night holiday package to Ho Chi Minh City
respectively.
It is understood that the number of
prizes in each category will depend on the number of participants in
each winning team.
In addition, there are also other
attractive novelty prizes to be won in the hunt, apart from prizes
for many quizzes and games that NBT is lining up for the
participants.
The responses from Toyota and Lexus
owners thus far have been simply overwhelming. But so as not to
disappoint 'late-corners', qualified owners will still be
accommodated till 4pm today or till the goody bags run-out,
whichever comes first. -- Courtesy of Borneo
