By Zasika Musdi

Bandar Seri Begawan - Sixteen participants (both students and teachers) from the Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah College of Nursing went on an educational trip to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

As part of their project, they were required to deliver a report on their trip at the Jubilee Hall of the college on Saturday. Present as the guest of honour was Dr Hj Abd Hamit bin Hj Musa, Acting Director of Nursing Services, Ministry of Health.

The purpose of their visit was both social and technical. They visited a number of historical landmarks, including the underground lair of the military during the Vietnam War, which happened over 30 years ago; Prenn Waterfall, the largest waterfall in Vietnam; Xuan Huong Swan Lake in Dalat; and the Bao Dai Summer Palace.

To fulfil the educational aspect of their visit, they visited the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine, the Cho Ray Clinical Practical Hospital, the Health Care Training Centre HCMC and the Hung Vuong Hospital.

The presentation was followed by a traditional Vietnamese dance performance and a presentation of certificates and souvenirs to the participants.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
