SCB Holiday For Lucky Four
By Aemy Azlena
Bandar Seri
Begawan - It was all smiles for four lucky winners yesterday
when they were presented with a three-day and two-night holiday
abroad at the Standard Chartered Bank's (SCB) Priority Banking
Centre in the Town Centre.
John Ling was presented a holiday
trip to Auckland, Nagarathinam Kumar to Sydney and Chang Wan Nee to
Dubai while both Feng Wang Nguk and Chung Kek Vu won trips to
Bangkok.
They were some of the customers
who, during the Bank's Foreign Currency Fixed Deposit campaign held
from 20 April to 30 June 2007, earned themselves one lucky draw
entry for every $1,000 invested in the Bank's Foreign Currency Fixed
Deposit. The number of entries each customer was entitled to was
then multiplied by the tenure length to increase their chances of
winning the holiday prizes.
SCB's
General Manager of Wealth Management, Ms Eng Siok Tin, was present
at the prize-giving and according to her, "the holidays were a fun
way to demonstrate the rewards of saving, but the real rewards is in
the peace of mind that customers get from proper financial
planning".
She further highlighted that there
is a growing awareness amongst the general public towards savings
and investments, and she welcomes the trend as a right step towards
a healthier lifestyle for Bruneians.
She explained that at SCB, they
believe in making, investment decisions easy for first-time
investors by offering innovative products such as the Foreign
Currency Fixed Deposit which allows them to invest in major
currencies with attractive interest rates. -- Courtesy of Borneo
