Khatam al-Quran ceremony at Pelambayan Religious School

About 64 students recently participated in a khatam al-Quran ceremony at Pelambayan Religious School in Mukim Kota Batu.

The function commenced with a recital of surah al-Fatihah.

Present as the guest of honour was Ustazah Hjh Norsinah bte Hj Hussien, Chief Supervisor of Islamic Studies at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

Also present was the village head as well as parents of the participating students.

During the event, a recital of Tahtim was read by Primary Five female students, while a doa khatam was read by the male students.

A dikir Marhaban was also performed by Primary Five male students, which was followed by a "Bunga Rampai" ceremony and a certificate presentation led by the guest of honour.

The ceremony concluded with a souvenir presentation to Ustazah Hjh Norsinah and a doa selamat read by Cikgu Hj Maslee bin Hj Judin.
