Brunei Gets Second Newspaper

Bandar Seri Begawan – Pehin Dato Awang Haji Adanan, Home Affairs Minister says the newcomer of the BRUNEI TIMES issue beginning today can play crucial role in facilitating the flow of ideas and interaction of creative mind in the country in lined with its Motto "fresh Ideas, New Option, Global Vision".

He was speaking during the launching of the BRUNEI TIMES.

Pehin Dato Awang Haji Adanan in his remarks urged the newspaper to uphold the traditional platforms of newsprint with essential source of information and liaise with the Government's of His Majesty on matters pertaining to public policy so as to ensure the integrity of the information.

The daily newspaper "THE BRUNEI TIMES" will be issued tomorrow on the First of July 2006.

It will be in English medium and containing beside of local news there will be also lots of regional and international current and dynamic news stories. -- Courtesy of Radio Television Brunei
