Chinese Community Urged To Avoid Roaming Fortune-Tellers

Bandar Seri Begawan - Fortune-tellers with strong Chinese dialect are allegedly looking for customers who want their palms to be read.

Since they can only speak in Chinese, these fortunetellers only approach the Chinese community at restaurants.

"If people do not want their services, they will go away. However, they must understand that they are not supposed to conduct business in the country as it's a violation of their visiting passes," said a Chinese diner.

A Chinese businessman told the Bulletin that these fortune-tellers do not only reveal people's future but they also offer feng shui services.

"Once you let them read your palms they will push for a feng shui reading which will cost you a fortune," he said. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
