China's Envoy Praises Royal Leadership

Bandar Seri Begawan - China's Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam has praised the vision and leadership of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in bringing about the peace and prosperity in the Sultanate.

In a message in conjunction with His Majesty 59th birthday celebration, Ambassador Yang Yangyi said: "Thanks to His Majesty's extraordinary gift of vision, leadership and invaluable service to his beloved country and people, Brunei Darussalam has enjoyed tranquility, peace and prosperity since independence.

"Looking back over the past year, one cannot but admire the strong sense of determination and will of the Government and people of Brunei Darussalam to come to grips with the opportunities and challenges brought about by globalisation and remarkable achievements attained in its economic diversification.

"Brunei's success delights us.
