Baiduri Bank Cards OK With Post Office

Bandar Seri Begawan - Customers can now make payments at the Postal Services Department with their Baiduri credit cards following the signing of an agreement yesterday.

The agreement between the Postal Services Department and Baiduri Bank, which was inked at the Mail Processing Centre in Berakas, allows the Postal Services Department to introduce payments by Baiduri credit card.

Signing on behalf of the Postal Services Department was Deputy Head Post Master, Awang Haji Azahari bin MohdAli while Baiduri Bank was represented by General Manager, Mr Pierre Imhof.

Also present to witness the signing ceremony were Hamir bin Mohd Salleh, Assistant Postmaster General (Operations), and Mr Ti Eng Hui, DGM Retail Banking and branch network of Baiduri Bank.

Awang Haj i Azahari said the event was another milestone for the Postal Services Department in providing a wider range of services.

With the new payment procedure, customers have a convenient option of paying using Baiduri credit card for the postal services apart from cash.

The new procedure will be introduced at all counters of the mail processing centre, including Premium counters, and will be available in other postal branches in the near future. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
