UBD To Host Medical Lecture

Bandar Seri Begawan - Institute of Medicine (IM), Universiti Brunei Darussalam will be holding a medical lecture on Wednesday, July 6, at UBD's Lecture Theatre, Chancellor Hall, from 7pm to 8.30 pm.

The topics are "Allergic rhinitis management made simple" and "Management of vertigo".

The guest speakers are Dr. Gordon Soo, specialist otorhinolaryngologist, Department of Ear, Nose and Throat, and adjunct assistant professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Dr Siu-Kwan Ng, medical and health officer, Department of Ear, Nose and Throat, and honorary clinical assistant professor, Department of Surgery, at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Dr. Soo would be addressing the management of allecgic rhinitis or more commonly known as hay fever.

Dr Ng would be talking on the management of vertigo (dizziness) to general practitioners, clinicians, nurses, health professionals, medical students and the public.

The lecture is part of a series of lectures organised by the Institute of Medicine to support its philosophy of being a socially responsible and to promote life long learning for the people of Brunei.
