Pusat Ehsan Gets Donations From Apollo Curtains

Bandar Seri Begawan - Pusat Ehsan Handicrafts Centre in Kg Bengkurong recently received rolls of fabric and other clothing items for use from Apollo Curtains and Carpets Company as Haska Interior Sdn Bhd.

Pg Hj Tajuddin, Pusat Ehsan's Manager, mentioned that the centre is inviting any interested agency in the country to sponsor materials. In turn, he said, this will help residents be an active contributor to the society and well received by any business companies with their skills in the long run.

Among handicraft items made by the skilled handicapped residents of Pusat Ehsan include handmade bookmarks, greeting cards, artificial flowers, single or double quilts, fabric bags for ladies and other souvenir items, receiving an encouraging response from the public, especially foreign tourists. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
