"Hide n Seek"

Bandar Seri Begawan - The International Library of Photography announced that the renowned photographer of Borneo Bulletin, Mr Rudolf Portillo, has three entries chosen to enter the final level of the International Open Amateur Photography Contest.

Portillo told the Bulletin this is his first time to enter the contest. He is excited and appreciates that his entries are among the pictures selected for the final level of the contest.

There are thousands of photographs sent by other participants around the world.

His three entries for the contest are entitled "Hide & Seek," "Sunset Lover" and " Sunset Kiss".

"Hide & Seek" pictures two young kids playing behind a rotten metal sheet.

Portillo's photographs will be published in a forthcoming anthology, Endless Journeys.

His entry, "Hide & Seek," was selected for publication because of its unique perspective and his artistic vision. The organiser believes it would add to the importance and appeal to their edition.

Over 114 cash or gift prizes are at stake, including the $1,000 Grand Prize.
