Sony Wega Theatre On Wheels Starts Today

Bandar Seri Begawan - Brunei has the best infrastructure thus placing it as the first destination on the `Sony Wega Theatre on Wheels' tour list.

This was disclosed by Sharon Teo of Sony Singapore, Asia Regional Marketing Company, during a press preview yesterday.

The roadshow will begin today after it is officiated by Dato Paduka Awg Abd Rahman Hj Mohiddin, Permanent Secretary of Home Affairs. It will showcase a line up of activities including the introduction of Sony's latest products.

Justin Wong, Area Manager of Asia Regional Marketing, revealed that making the container alone came to about $130,000.

Built in Singapore, the original container was dismantled and sound proof materials were installed before it was reassembled.

Also present at yesterday's preview were several other Asia Regional Marketing staff members, including Florence Lee, who handles the Brunei market, and Marketing Manager Mr. Wada Hideyuki. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
