Bandar Seri Begawan - Fourteen participants including seven boys and seven girls from various schools in the four districts competed in the finals of the national level al-Quran recitation competition held at the Pusat Dakwah Islamiah in Berakas yesterday.

Ustazah Hjh Zasia, Acting Director of Pusat Dakwah Islamiah, launched the event which started with a mass recitation of Surah al-Fatihah.

Ustaz Syed Ahmad Said Abdun led the launching.
