APEC Youth Camp Delegates Visit Taipei Office

Bandar Seri Begawan - The five students who had been selected to represent Brunei in the APEC International Youth Camp 2004 in Taipei yesterday paid a goodwill visit to Dr. James C.H.Chen, Representative at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Brunei. .

The students from Berakas Secondary School are Mohd Fauzih Mahmud, Aminudin Haji Abu Bakar, Zirwatul Hayat lIK Haji PH Saifuddin, Asimah Haji Mahmud and Edibah Omar.

They were led by an officer from Nor Khairulaney Damit, the Ministry of Education.

During the hour-long visit, Dr. James Chen gave a briefing on the current developments and other related issues in Taiwan to the visitors.

He also congratulated them for being selected to represent Brunei in the Youth Camp, which is held for the first time in Taipei.
